2025 kicks off with an outstanding new Port wine by the Port-based centenary wine brand DALVA, the Dalva 50 Years Very Old White, a reflection of the exceptional legacy of C. da Silva house.
The richness of ancient white wines paired with the expertise of a historical brand came together in a complex, refined Port wine.
With oenology by José Manuel Sousa Soares, the Dalva 50 Years Very Old White was created with the best white wines aged in casks for varying lengths at the DALVA cellars in Vila Nova de Gaia. The blend was carefully prepared to craft a wine with a 50-year-old profile, elegant and rich, with a brownish hue and aromas of spices and nuts. With a pleasant sweetness and rich acidity, it unveils a prolonged, unctuous finish with the intensity of a rare wine that is a unique experience.
With a limited batch of only 250 bottles per year, Dalva 50 Years Very Old White has hit the marlet, available at the main wine shops across the country, at Espaço Porto Cruz, in Vila Nova de Gaia, at Mercearia de Ventozelo (wine&farm shop) in Douro, as well as the group's online store www.granvinho.pt.
